Money is simply a way of storing labor for trade. I work; and, in a sense, my boss "stores" my effort in a lot of pretty green papers that I then trade for the efforts of others who make TVs, print newspapers, grow food or whatever. Money is therefore not evil; it merely spars me having to barter my specific skills with people able to meet my specific needs to acquire those needs. Like alcohol, sex and so many other things, though, people can have selfish or irresponsible attitudes about it, and so, like alcohol and sex, it can seem evil in and of itself.
